Sorry, I am a bit late with October’s bullet journal spread – it was a busy last week of September and now I am fighting a cold, but here they are! I had a lot of fun making the October pages with a Halloween theme (of course!)
Hello October ~ My favourite month! My birthday, my niece and dad’s birthdays, Thanksgiving and Halloween! Not to mention National Taco Day and Mental Health Awareness Day! I drew a spooky tree and a pumpkin using my new favourite Tombow markers. Notice a certain someone? 🐱👤
I kept the calendar very simple. I know October is a busy month and I have a lot to fill in. Candy corn for the days of the week, sticking with the Halloween theme. “Strive for Progress” is my October motto ~ aim to always move forward. I had to get out my spare Paper Mate black pen as I wore the other one out.
Sticking with Halloween, I used tombstones for the dates and decorated the page with Halloween themed doodles.
You even get a sneak peak of November’s theme ~ Gems & Geodes! In November we need a little sparkle!
Describe Your Day in 1 Word:
I thought this page would be a great accompaniment to my mood tracker. I was also needing an excuse to make a potions room. I will write my word in the potion bottles.
I think this is my most favourite page. It goes so well with my 1 Word a Day page! ‘My Moody Brew’ will be made as I record my emotions. I stuck with some basic labels ~ joy, calm, focused, tired, grumpy, anxious.
What is Halloween without candy?! For my gratitude page, I will record the ‘sweet things’ in the candies. It is so important to show gratitude. It really helps as a reminder to be in the moment.
I went with a very basic grid format for the tracker. Fill in a square each day, if I completed the item. More Halloween doodles to finish off the page. I love the orange lettering with spider webs!
So? Did you find him on every single page? 🐱👤
Fall Bucket List:
Since I did not get to it in September, I created my fall bucket list at the end of my October pages. Although, with the weather this year it seems like we skipped fall and went right to winter. 😠 What is on your fall bucket list?
I would love to see your October bujo pages! Share them in the comments!
