Can you believe it’s December already?! I have been looking forward to creating my December bullet journal pages all year. I love the Christmas season; the twinkling lights, wrapping presents, baking, and the magic that seems to linger in the air. So, obviously I had to create Christmas bullet journal layouts this month.
December Title Page
My December title page has an adorable gingerbread house and “December” in hanging ornaments. I love to make gingerbread houses, to colour them, to make giant cardboard ones to play in ~ they are just so much fun!
I tried a 2-page spread for this month’s calendar. I wanted more space to get creative and I had never made a 2-page calendar before (I think I’m in love😍 ). I have room to write my monthly tasks, and my motto for this month “All is calm, all is bright.” I am considering continuing with the 2-page calendars next year and get rid of title pages. There is plenty of room to create a beautiful month title above the calendar, a to do list or variety of other options like monthly goals.
Oh man, I had so much fun creating these spreads and colouring. I really took advantage of using washi tape this month to add borders. For the last week of December, I included Monday the 31st, so I can start my new bujo fresh in January.
I stuck with a pretty straightforward habit tracker this month. I just added some Christmas colours to brighten it up. I will shade in each day with a coloured pencil.
I had this page planned in my head for months ~“stockings hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Nick soon would be there” (my favourite Christmas Story). Each day I will shade a stripe on the stockings. I even choose ‘moods’ with a Christmas theme (jolly; peaceful/cozy; anxious/tired; the Grinch).
I struggled with creating a creative page for this month’s gratitude log. I considered an advent calendar, presents, stockings; but I just didn’t love those ideas (except the advent calendar – I have big plans for next year!) so I created a fairly simple design that I do enjoy. Again, I added some Christmas colours to add contrast.
Christmas Bucket List
I love to do seasonal bucket lists. It’s a good way to have something to look forward to. Since I created a winter bucket list in January, it felt fitting to have a Christmas or holiday bucket list. In January, I will make another winter bucket list. What do you have on your Christmas bucket list?
Christmas Present List
I thought this was such a cute way to track my gift giving this year. On Santa’s list, I will write everyone’s name I need to get gifts for. In each of the presents, I will write what I got for each person. Each present will be dedicated to a group or family and of course the pets. I put a small extra present because there is usually always someone you need to find a last-minute gift for.
I LOVE stockings. I think there is something so magical about them. I also love filling them and watching everyone open their stockings on Christmas morning. So this page is dedicated to what stocking stuffers I find for everyone.
Supplies Used this Month:
- Leuchtturm 1917 Notebook
- Paper Mate Flair Point Pens
- Tombow Dual Brush Pen Art Markers
- Prang Colored Pencil Set
I am nearing the end of my very first bullet journal. There are a few pages left that I will dedicate to reflection and memories. I loved ending it on such a magical theme.
I would love to see your December pages!
